 Description of Events

  1. Paper/ Poster Presentation: Participants are expected to write a scientific well-organized paper on a topic of their choice falling into any of the given categories. Each team will consist of two authors (tentative). For paper presentation it will be mandatory to submit the written reports in the format supplied. Presentation will be for 20 minutes. Selection of entries for the final round will be based on abstracts submitted by the participants

  3. Junior Level Quiz: This quiz is designed for students of first and second year. It is expected to cover engineering and technical fundamentals taught in these years. The format will be as decided by the organizing committee.
  4. Senior Level Quiz: This quiz is designed for higher for students of third and fourth year, although students from all classes are allowed to participate. It is expected to cover engineering and technical fundamentals covered in all four years. The format will be as decided by the organizing committee.
  5. Engineering Quiz: This quiz is designed to test the engineering skills of the participants. They will be given a typical practical engineering problem based questions. The format will be as decided by the organizing committee.
  6. Technical Project Competitions: This is a team competition based on a given technical Project. The participants will be informed of the details of the project in advance and performance and evaluation of their projects will be done on competition day. Exact nature of projects will vary for different festivals.
  7. On-the-Spot events: These will include technical tests on Chemistry and Engineering fundamentals. Registration will be on the spot. The complete scope of on-the-spot events is as yet undecided.
